Loop detectors are installed to operate an automatic gate. Usually installed within the premises to open and close gates automatically by detecting the presents of a vehicle. The loop consists of several loops of wire which is installed on the driveway. When vehicles pass over the loop a relay is triggered. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted to suit all vehicles.
