Loop detectors are installed to operate an automatic gate. Usually installed within the premises to open and close gates automatically by detecting the presents of a vehicle. The loop consists of several loops of wire which is installed on the driveway. When vehicles pass over the loop a relay is triggered. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted to suit all vehicles.
Loop detectors can be installed to automatically open the gate for all vehicles going out of an area.
